Money Is Irrelevant, Find Your Passion!

Money Is Irrelevant, Find Your Passion!

It has been a while since I wrote something.I think the reason for me not writing that much is that I’ve been busy working very hard to make my dreams a reality.  One of my goals(dreams) is to play poker on a professional level. In order to do that, you need to have some money to play with. Therefore  I’ve been working a lot.  Besides poker I’ve been busy with making Dutch rap and I started an internet business with some friends. You can tell that I’m very busy, but that’s totally fine with me! I can say that for the first time in my life, everything that I do is something that I chose myself. Nothing that I do at this point has been because of other’s people’s opinion or insecurities. This reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend.

Nothing that I do at this point has been because of other’s people’s opinion or insecurities.

My friend, let’s call him John,  and I were having a beer and were talking. At a certain point in the conversation he told me that he didn’t had a clue about what to do with his life. While he was speaking I noticed him looking down a little bit, it was a sensitive subject. Those who have been reading my blog know  that I’m very passionate about living my dreams. So I couldn’t help myself but to tell him about the LivinggGOOD mindset.

Me: What would you do if I gave you €10.000?
John: hmm, that’s a good one, I think I would go on vacation! Buy some clothes and maybe a scooter.

Me: Oke thats nice, and what if the next month I will give you another €100.000
John: Haha well, that would never happen! But I would buy me a nice car! I think I would travel all over the world and party a lot.

Me: Haha that’s nice John, and imagine this. The next month I will give you €1.000.000!
John: This game is crazy, but oké. I think I would buy a nice place and maybe start a restaurant.

Me: Ahh now we are getting somewhere!

John: Yeah, that’s something I think I really want to do, I love cooking and I think it’s pretty cool if one day I will have my own restaurant.

Some of you might already know by now what i’m trying to point out here. In the conversation I had with John I tried to find out what he would do if money wasn’t important anymore. John said that if he had over €1.000.000 he would start a restaurant. He found out that if there were no insecurities about money and paying bills, his heart told him to do something with his passion.

Start with the end, in that way you know what to do right now!

I told John you have to start with the end, in that way you know what to do right now! If you want to own your own restaurant one day, you must learn to cook a lot of different meals and you will have to know how to manage people. I told him that maybe, if he wants to live his dream one day, he would have to go a school where he can learn these things.

John was very surprised, suddenly he knew what to do. I hope that this conversation between me and my friend can help you to find your passion too. Start with the end and  ask yourself, what would I do if I had all the money in the world?
